Brand history — Bucherer

The Bucherer story began in Lucerne in 1888, when Carl-Friedrich Bucherer opened a watch and jewellery shop. Over time, the family helped distribute major Swiss watch brands while also creating timepieces under its own name. Older watches signed Bucherer should be distinguished from the Carl F. Bucherer watch brand launched much later, an important distinction when researching vintage pieces.
